As Interior Design Director on the new Barangaroo tower, I coordinated a wide range of design consultants based around the world, running a team of design managers focussed on different areas, to achieve a cohesive but diverse and stimulating design aesthetic throughout the building.

The Sales Suite for the One Barangaroo Residences located on the upper 30 floors of the tower - from 2-bedrooms to the penthouse - designed by Meyer Davis in New York.
The extensive sales suite represented the typical designs, cabinetry and finishes of all rooms in the apartments, whose plans were often customised for buyers, some combining with adjacent apartments to occupy whole floors.
Many of the details were resolved during the construction of the suite, working closely with the designer, joiner and fit-out contractor for expediency. These were later translated into details provided to overseas cabinet-makers to manufacture.
The twisting facade required different plans for every apartment, involving extensive liaison with the designers, lighting and services consultants.
All components of the master bedroom suites, including leather panelled bedheads, glass laminated metallic fabric in steel frames, robes and dressers, were prototyped before manufacture overseas.
Extensive sub-documentation and coordination with the fabricators was involved to accommodate the numerous permutations required for the different layouts.
Ensuites with selected book-matched marble slabs hobs and feature walls, custom framed textured glass shower and toilet enclosures, mirrored vanity cabinets with cast glass wall lights. Basins were custom cast in selected colours.
The penthouse located just below the hotel sky villa.
The tapering twisting nature of the building increases at the top, creating unique spaces for the 6 ensuite bedrooms, master office and gym providing 360 degree views, focussed on the double height living space with open stone stair and central marble fireplace.
